Life
Hi! My name is David Baker, and I am an adventure enthusiast, photographer, and owner of DKP™ kiteboarding in Victoria, British Columbia. Having grown up on beautiful Vancouver Island, I've grown to cherish the thrill of exploration and discovery it offers. My fascination with extreme sports like kiteboarding, paragliding, wing foiling, and surfing has grown significantly, captivating me entirely. Consequently, I've recently opened up a kiteboarding school, allowing me to share my passion with others and watch the adventurous journeys of my students as they come to life.
Currently, I am a university student pursuing a degree in biology. However, my love for photography and cinematography runs deep, and I continually seek opportunities to capture life's breathtaking moments. As I continue to grow and learn, I am excited to share my experiences and the world's beauty through my lens.

As a professional photographer, I have a passion for capturing the beauty and uniqueness of my subjects, whether it be in the great outdoors or in studio. My years of experience and dedication to my craft have led to recognition in competitions such as the Royal BC Museum Young Wildlife Photographer Competition, UWSS Photo Contest, and being shortlisted for the World Wildlife Photographer of the year.
I understand that each client has unique needs and desires. That's why I offer a wide range of services, from adventurous outdoor shoots to lifestyle and branding photography. My expertise is in capturing the true essence of an individual or brand.
