About me

Hi, my name is David, and I am an adventure enthusiast and photographer in Victoria and Vancouver. I grew up on Vancouver Island and spent much of my time exploring and photographing different activities from surfing Sombrio to hiking in Strathcona. These photos were a way to share my passions and also to remember the moments in a unique and beautiful way. I love to incorporate nature into my shoots and use bright colours that highlight the subject's features and vibe. My experience as a photographer has led to being recognized as the winner of the Royal BC Museum Young Wildlife Photographer Competition and UWSS Photo Contest, and being shortlisted for the World Wildlife Photographer of the year.
